Program Description
Spend a semester studying in the historic city of Oldenburg! Located in the northwest corner of Germany near the Netherlands, Oldenburg is a modern, bustling city with plenty of old world charm. In addition to embracing all of the culture and excitement that the surrounding city has to offer, international exchange students will also benefit from the frequent events, excursions, and social events sponsored by the university. UWG exchange students should feel at home on Oldenburg's campus, which shares a student population similar in size to that of the University of West Georgia. Carl von Ossietzky University is located in the city of Oldenburg - a very nice, safe, and green city of about 160,000 inhabitants. Close to the North Sea, the cities of Groningen (The Netherlands), Bremen, and Hamburg are within considerable reach.Oldenburg
