Program Description:
Spend a semester, a year or a block (half) semester at University of Münster, a picturesque German town that's full of history and full of bicycles! The program is open to students in a variety of business fields, and courses are taught in English. Students can earn credit towards their UWG degrees while studying in the country at the forefront of European business. Participants in the program also have the opportunity to explore German and European culture through excursions organized by UM's international student group -- and you can take introductory German to help you integrate with the local culture.
Münster is situated on the Aa River, and has a green-belt bike path surrounding the city, which is a great space for walking or bicycling. The closest major international airport is Düsseldorf, which is only one hour from Münster by train. Because of its central location, Düsseldorf is a great base from which to explore the rest of Germany or elsewhere in Europe.

*German semesters run from September to March and April to August. OEA can assist students in planning around this timetable as they prepare for their semester abroad. Students may also opt to take block courses, which would allow them to take courses over a half semester (September to December), an option that offers greater flexibility for students to fit their overseas study in with their regular semesters at UWG.
